Buying a new a bathtub. What to look for.

Hey guys, just an update. Currently we are saving towards a new DIY project. This will be focused on improving the bathroom, in particular the bathtub. Alongside this project, we will be putting around $700 away each month hoping to raise about $10k to build a log cabin at the bottom of our back yard.

This is a bit of an ambitious project because the ground on the area we’ve been granted planning permission is uneven and will require some form of digger to help us level the land to make it suitable. Then of course, you have the extra materials and so on on top of that.

So coming soon, we will be posting a step by step journey of how we went about building it with pictures, videos, the lot. So keep an eye out for updates.

However, this specific post is will outline the bathtubs we have our eyes on. We’ll be using the reviews and buying guide on Bathtubadvice.com to help us achieve this. Clawfoot and freestanding options are ones that appeal to us most, but we are not completely against getting a drop in or undermount bathtub too.

There is so much to be done, but so little time available to do it in. I will have to recruit some friends to help out if I want to get it done by winter.
